God, that CLO (fermented in particular) is sooooo nasty smelling! I get it--I got some on a hand towel once, then washed a load of clothes, and I SWEAR all the 'clean' clothes smelled awfully like fermented CLO. We washed them multiple times but some of the clothes never got the smell out--I'm thinking we probably donated them to a local goodwill or something b/c we just couldn't handle the smell!

I think this is a great idea--doing it w/ a different dha/ala supp--I'd totally try that if you don't find something else that works for you. Glad to hear his reactions have cleared up--food reactions are so awful to deal w/!!! (And I'm glad he may not be reactive to dairy--being ok w/ dairy would TOTALLY rock!!!)

Thrilled to hear there is a grass-fed goat milk formula as well--that is just way cool!

I didn't know you couldn't ask for donor milk on here...can you even post your situation in your tribal area and describe your situation? Or contact a local LLL or Holistic Parents Network or API and see if anyone can help? Do you go to a church? There might be someone there. Otherwise, I'd try the goat milk and more solids.

Yes the smell never comes out of clothes. It would just be easy to give the stuff to the kids when they are in the tub so it can just wash off. My dd seems to make a mess with FCLO often. I find when the syringe squirts in her mouth it splatters. Yuck!
