Anyone else not packed or registered yet?

I have not gone to register or even started packing yet.

EDD by LMP is 5/13; by US 4/26....

I know we plan on homebirth, and maybe that is why I am not in a hurry to do anything about it.

But what happens if I show up and I am not registered?

I am not overly stressed about packing, as that is fairly quick, because most stuff is handy already because I will use it at home. I am still looking for a few things (my music, and some a few things for baby), but I am generally all ready got everything together. My "post partum" stuff is basically all together in a box in storage about 5 mins from the house. Just need to go pull it out (has all my "ice packs", peri pads, peri bottle, etc) and bring it home.

I'm due the 17th. I have a c-section scheduled for the 18th. Ideally she'll decide to come before that, but I'm not holding my breath.

I've not packed a thing nor have I filled out the darn form.

Well, my OB told me that if you get to the hospital and you aren't registered (I just did mine, too!) that you can't get any pain meds until you sign all the paperwork. LOL I don't know if there's more to it than that, but if I went when there was an emergency, I'd hate to be signing stuff on the fly...of course if there is a true emergency, they don't need consent to do anything, they get it later. So...IDK. LOL

I am halfway packed. I could picture my mom rolling her eyes at me when I told her this yesterday.

At the hospital I work at it's not that big of a deal. We wouldn't withhold pain meds or treatment of any kind because of lack of paperwork- seriously! It is just a bit of a pain, asking about your health history and such while you're in labor, and there are a metric ton of forms to sign- consents for hearing screens and car seats and everything else!

I haven't packed a bag either- and I'm not planning a home birth! I haven't installed the car seat yet either- yikes! I'd better get on it!

I was registered the last time, and I still had all the questions asked of me while I was in labor.....I think even with DS1 I had the questions asked even though I was pre-registered....

And *LOL* I still have to figure out where our infant carseat went. It has been 2 years since I last used it, and DH has put it some place safe (along with my birthing ball, but someone loaned me theirs) and cannot remember where....I figured worse comes to worse, if I have to go to the hospital, I can turn either DS2's or DD2's carseat rear facing for the baby.

I'm registered - only because at the hospital I am delivering at they make you do it once you are about 25 weeks.

I haven't packed anything though... I probably should as I think it could be anytime now... if only I could find the energy and motivation
I never packed for my other two deliveries - DH was able to decide what to bring for me after my babies were born. He actually did a really good job

Not reged-not packed. Im sure Ill go over this stuff on Monday with my OB. I have to schedual my induction for 41.5 wks too on Monday-lol I wont even make it that far but its a just in case.

I dont even know where my bag is to get packed. Ill work on that tomorrow. Im willing myself to be 7cm on monday so they admit me and I can get Miss D out of me

We just finished out last min shopping for stuff today. Im really hoping my diaper bag gets here soon.

Not packed, haven't ordered birth kit yet (delivering at birthing center), haven't finished doing pediatrician paperwork, haven't washed/organized baby's clothes, haven't ordered cloth diapers yet, carseat needs to be fitted into my car...have no kind of diapers or wipes...need lots of little things that I can't afford to buy...

I'm feeling a little overwhelmed, but this is my 3rd kid, so I figure if she makes an early appearance, we'll swing by the store and pick up some disposable diapers and I'll just snuggle and nurse her in a diaper and blanket till the clothes get washed LOL.

I'm not technically due for another 4 weeks, but both of my other kids made earlier appearances, so I'd like to be all ready in 2 weeks.

This statement is so true right now for us too.

We just paid out $300 for a house inspection on the home we hope to purchase in the next few weeks.

Our car broke down at the beginning of last month (the family vehicle) and had to put several hundred into it; and now it is down again and looking at the rest of our savings for it.

I need a new carseat for DD2, as she has outgrown, height wise, the Britax Roundabout we were given by a friend. Need a new booster seat for DS1, as he has gotten too tall for his high back booster (Britax Parkway).

Oh, and I believe we want to cloth diaper this baby, and need to get those. But will probably stick with disposables for a few weeks until the left over ones from DD2's birth 2 1/2 years ago are gone (we had almost a full Sam's Club box left over, because she outgrew them shortly after we purchased them). We also need to get the little spray nozzle to attach to the toilet for cleaning off the poop.
