beef suet

I got some beef suet and was hoping to be able to turn it into an oil I can cook with (is it tallow or lard?). I have no idea where to start, though. Can someone walk me through the process of making tallow/lard/something from beef suet? Thanks!

Here is an old thread on rendering tallow. Good stuff!
