Hey everyone!
So I seem to have babies that like to hang out in the transverse (sitting in a hammock!) position. My last baby was kind of transverse at 38 or so weeks, and he did get into the right position when I went into labor. I know I'm only 34 weeks, and given my past experience, I guess I shouldn't be worried about it, but I can't help but be a little nervous. I think it's because this baby's head is up a little higher than my DS's was, and because I don't seem to have quite as much fluid for him to float around in as I did last time (plenty, but I had TONS last time), so I'm afraid he'll run out of room/time to turn.
Anyone else have babies who like to sit this way turn really late? Is there anything I should be doing to encourage him? I try to get down in the knee/chest position every night before I go to bed, although I'm not sure if that helps so much when no part of him is actually engaged in my pelvis. I have a great chiropractor who is certified in the Webster technique, so I guess I can always go see her eventually. Anyone had that done to them? Last time I had a regular adjustment the day I went into labor, but nothing special. Maybe I should just go for an adjustment to see if that helps.
Thanks!
