To me thats a great sign!

DF and I very much cherish our fortune cookies. Much more often than not we get creepily accurate ones... including ones that specifically say what day it happens.

GRAPES!!!!

Baseline U/S= ALLLLL CLEAR!

Starting my pills tomorrow and my injects on Saturday. I'll go in for another baseline u/s on Wednesday and see if any follies are growing

On another note, I'm still having doubts about this RE's office:

Nurse: "hey did you ever take Cipro for 7 days?"

"No, why? I took the other two antibiotics at the same time."

"Well your last blood test (a month ago mind you) showed that the infection was resistant to those two."

"Well no one called me to tell me that, or to give me a scrip."

"Oh, well just take it for 7 days now, along with the other stuff."

So I'm 10dpo and feeling nothing...I did just have to go to the bathroom really bad...like I barely made it...and that rarely happens...but I think I'm making a mountain out of a molehill! LOL!

fever = fried egg!!!!

I usually skip the first few days it asks for sticks, because I know it's too early for me to O, and I hate to waste them!
I TOTALLY GOT SICK!!! Ans kept working... yesterday, drove all around Western Washington, delivered 2 presentation WITH A FEVER! I didn't know how sick I was until it was too late. I have a serious cold, fever chills, totally congested, sneezing.
So, I guess (at 5dpo) I am probably out. (Now, please, someone step in and say that since the fertilized hasn't implanted, I'm in the clear...even if it was hot in there...please...)

Thanks Nanette, I am just not going to pee on the cbefm sticks until next cycle, when I won't start until later.

And, Nanette, Yippee for clear baseline! The office does sound scattered! I would be upset if someone causally asked me to take 2 rounds (or an extra round) of antibiotics, just 'cause they forgot to give me piece of information... I only take them when I HAVE to

LOL! Seriously, I've been to the bathroom 4 times this morning and I feel like I'm about to bust again...all I've had today is a bowl of cereal (I don't even drink the milk), 1 1/2 cups of coffee (which is about normal sometimes I have more), and a cupcake in celebration of my niece's birthday! Maybe it's nerves...

Hi all! Thanks for the new thread. I promise to check in later with personals but I am dashing off to my HSG.

How bad was your fever?

Well, I was traveling all day, so couldn't check, but when I finally did, it was 101.39... Yep, under that 102 crucial point, but still worrisome...
Whacha think?
I think you are fine... if it was under 102 then it probably only skirted 102 at its worst (seriously unless you were starting to hallucinate from the fever, I wouldnt horribly worry)

Plus yeah, you are only 5dpo... chances are baby hasnt even implanted yet and wont for a day or three... mine implanted (very obviously! LOL) at 6dpo

Jenger: sorry you are feeling sick. I agree with MP, from what I've heard, under 102 is ok. Hugs

Grapesbunch: I like your fortune! I hope it comes true

Maurine: hope the HSG went well. Update?

Nanette: I'm thinking and rooting for you. your RE sounds a little laissez faire, I hope it all goes smoothly though and you know my for ya

Tear and Millefleur: y'all are both on my mind!!

AFM: cd12. saw my gyn today (and who i'm liking more and more). I thought I was actually going in there to schedule a laparoscopy or an HSG (which is what he told me to come in and do if dh's SA came back looking good, which it did) but instead, he said to go get a "persona" fertility monitor and to come back in august and that he wanted to wait because:
1) he saw that I had some good looking follis at my last pap appointment
2) my hormones are fine
3) from what he could feel externally at my pap, my tubes felt good. i didn't know you could feel the difference between tubes but he said that when they are not blocked they are nice and soft, which mine were.

and of course to come back earlier if i think i'm pregnant!

has anyone tried the "persona"? having the next three months to focus on and not... eternity... its definitely helpful for my morale. i'm going to just try to enjoy the summer-ness of summer and my dh.

Tear78 - I will miss you! I hope your break results in a nice BFP! I wonder if you'll have to create a new username to come back in here and tell us all?

enigo - for a wonderful ultrasound!

Apricot - thanks again for the thread. I don't know your history, but I know that I am glad to be pursuing help and getting some answers. Is it an issue with your insurance? But that does make me curious...anyone on here regret pursuing medical help?

Nanette56 - I am glad your baseline u/s went well. Having to go on b/c would be totally terrible when you're rarin' to go!

Jenger - feeling better yet?

lapis - I haven't heard about "persona" but that's nice that you're liking your new doctor. Good doctors are so darn hard to find!

AFM - My HSG was "all clear" so that's a good sign! It did hurt when they shot the dye in, but now I'm fine. Although, they gave 800mg of ibuprofen, which I stupidly just took without thinking. Now I am worried that it will interfere with ovulation. Not that my ovaries are super great at ovulating anyway...but it's just another thing to fret over...

Oh, and can I be added to the 1st post? I've been TTC #1 since August 2009 with annovulatory cycles. Thanks!

I know this is not an obsessing thread, but I'm 11 dpo and dying to know...

Question for those of you who have taken clomid or know a lot about it: did it affect your post-O temps? It definitely raise my pre-O temps while I was on it, but my chart this month looks different than the past.

...and that 98.2 at 11 dpo is intriguing me! I've never had a temp higher than 98.1 in more than a year of charting. Just wondering if the clomid is affecting it. I know it's just a waiting game to see what happens the next few days, but I'm an over-analyzer like my mother!

I have heard of women taking it with the hope of it raising their progesterone levels naturally...

But Ive seen a similar trend with pregnant ladies...

sooo

I know you don't want to hear this, but...

You are going to have to wait for a bfp or af to let you know which it is!

Grapes-- popping in to say GOOD LUCK! I really hope this is your cycle. Your chart is looking GREAT! I have heard the clomid can increase your BBT prior to ovulation but it does not have much effect on it after ovulation! Your temps look

Oh why must the truth hurts so bad! LOL! Then I will wait...ever so impatiently... I might just have to head over to $tree to get me some tests though.

Here's another question: If my temp is still high at 13 dpo (Saturday) do I go ahead and test and possibly dash my hopes or risk getting a BFN/AF on Mother's Day (14 dpo Sunday)?

I have a busy day today and though I will be thinking about it continually, I won't have more than about an hour at home tonight before bedtime, DH has a baseball game tomorrow so I will head up there, and our Saturday is packed with more baseball and spring cleaning/yard work.

Thank you so much, Lauren! You are another I would stalk occasionally to see how you were doing though I didn't have to heart to post for several months. Congratulations on your little girl!
