high vitamin butter oil - flavored or unflavored?

I was looking to buy this from Dr. Ron's website and since I've never had it before, I wasn't sure if the unflavored tastes bad and I should get the raspberry instead. I'm sure my son will want some too but I don't think he'll care so much.

So for those who have had it, unflavored or flavored? Thanks!

I had the same concern when I was on drrons.com a couple weeks ago buying it. We just got the raspberry and I don't like it. The butter oil tastes, to me, just like good butter and the raspberry flavoring is just kind of strange in it. I thought it would help my kids take it more easily, but my older DS seems to think it is strange too. I don't mean that it tastes bad, but we like the taste of butter just fine so I wish I would have gotten the plain kind. Next time I will. I think it would make it easier to add to food. With the flavor I don't feel like it will mix in very well. Anyway, that's my two cents!

Thanks! Yeah, I was wondering what it needed to be flavored...this coming from the girl who used to eat bite into the butter stick when she was younger! Who wants to hide the taste of butter??

Myself, I got the unflavored (from Green Pasture) and it. is. terrible. I loathe it. I can't even bring myself to take it every day, it is such an ordeal for me. And, I LOVE real butter. But that's just me... DH doesn't think it's bad, but gags over the FCLO. Whereas I don't think the FCLO is any problem at all.

I take the unflavored kind. I agree, it doesn't taste like butter--buttery, yes, but not in a yummy way--so I always wash it down with orange juice to mask the flavor.
