My son is almost three months. He's refusing the potty only at night time. As soon as I pick him up, he starts crying. He still needs to go, though, because when he wakes he pees when I'm nursing him back down. He won't nurse on the potty. Help?
Also, I live in an apartment and we spend a lot of time outside in the cement covered backyard. When I wear my son coverless, I can only feel if he goes if the only fabric between me and him is the diaper. Inside, I just wear a nursing bra (otherwise we'd both get soaked in milk) and put him in the wrap. I would like to think of a more modest option to take my son outside coverless where I can still feel a miss that's appropriate for summer. Ideas?

. It seems ds had a good deal of night time potty refusals at different stages until about 15 months or so. It sounds normal to me. For us, it seemed to help that he had a pacifier. Sometimes I could get him to calm down enough with that to catch the pee, otherwise, I just had to put a prefold down so that he could pee on that and I could toss it in the dirty clothes.
