UTI (help/what to do)?

I think I've got a UTI. Ouch. I'm 37 and this would be my first UTI (weird to me). I called my doctor and they will see me tomorrow about 24 hours from now exactly.

Do I have any chance of getting rid of this thing before I see him? How?

I've always been able to clear them without seeing a doctor by drinking 2 gallons of water in 24 hours, plus about 1/4 cup of unsweetened cranberry juice per hour. So that kind of works out to drinking 1 cup of water every 20 minutes.

Its a lot of peeing! Like, every 10 minutes you have to pee. But it works.

yup to the cranberry and drinking LOTS of water. Also mix half a teaspoon of baking soda in an eight-ounce glass of water and drink it. This will raise the PH of the urine, amking it less irritating. You can also take Oregon grape root or goldenseal in capsule form.

Alos can try homeopathic remedies: Cantharis, Apis mellifica, Staphysagria, and Sarsasparilla, are four of the most commonly used homeopathic remedies for different symptoms of UTI.

Feel better

D-Mannose powder works very well for UTI's and is available at most health food stores. Take it daily by mouth and the UTI will clear up on its own. It flushes the bacteria from the bladder by not allowing it to bind to the wall of the bladder. Hope you feel better soon.

Another vote for D-Mannose. Plus drink a lot of water.
Hope you're feeling better soon!
