Ok, I know there are a million threads with this exact same topic, but I just couldn't help myself

We are having a really hard time deciding what to call this little girl. Dh and I are stuck between 3 names. So, opinions please What do you think of

Zoe Elizabeth
Evelyn Grace
Liliana Rose

Thanks!!

Evelyn Grace ...I like the way that sounds best. Zoe is a pretty name for a girl, but for an adult... I don't know.

Liliana Rose

Don't feel bad for posting! I Loooooove name threads!

Does popularity matter to you? I think Evelyn is my favorite of these names (all of which are lovely), but the "-yn" ending is very common and popular right now, and I know a few young Evelyns. That said, it's a classic of a name, and I don't ever think you'll see it in the top 15 or 20.

I'd go for Evelyn Grace or Zoe Elizabeth. Zoe is a great name for a girl or a woman, I think, and it has a unique sound without being bizarro. Liliana is very pretty, but the "ana" endings are going kind of crazy right now...still, it's lovely. You really can't go wrong with any of these.

Liliana is really pretty, and more on the unusual side. I like it!

Evelyn is sort of in the Mabel, Hazel, etc. crowd - once frumpy, now back. It's good, too.

Zoe is too popular for me.

We're heavily considering Evelyn Grace

Evelyn Grace is wonderful. My best friend's youngest (1) is named Eveleen (her great grandma's name) and we call her Evie. Pronounced Ev-ee. It's a great name, and fun to say, if you go with it and call her Evie for short.

Yes! Fifteen years ago, if someone had told me that they were considering one of those names I would have thought, "You have got to be kidding me.". Now I think they are sweet!

But that style of name... the old-fashioned frumpy/now fashionable... is the exact opposite style of your other daughter, Kayla. Five to ten years ago Kayla was new and trendy.

So I don't think that Kayla goes well with Evelyn or Liliana. I vote for Zoe for that reason.

i say lilianna because it's not as popular. the other two are on everyone elses name lists, along w/ violet, hazel, iris, etc. sorry.

Those three middle names are on my baby girl name list! I like them all, they're all very classy and pretty.

Thank you!! You all brought up some good points to think about.
When I picked Kayla 5 years ago...I thought it was unusual--LOL Still haven't met too many Kaylas...lots of Kaylee's though

Evelyn Grace is my favorite too... I love the nickname Evie and would probably call her that. But, I also named my son Jackson thinking I would call him Jack and so far I say Jackson 90% of the time.

My husband's favorite is Liliana...with the nickname of Lily. I was heavily considering Zoe ( I love the meaning), but SIL just announced they have a new puppy named Zoe, so it totally killed the name for me . We don't live close by, so I'm not sure how much it really matters.

Anyway thanks again

They are all so beautiful!! Why don't you wait until you meet her and then choose the one that fits her best?

We used that naming technique. I don't recommend it. When you are exhausted from lord knows how many hours of labor, I guarantee you that the only thing that'll come to mind as you look on your newborn is "red n' wrinkled." It's a miracle that didn't end up on ds's birth certificate.

I like Zoe Elizabeth best. Short, snappy and smart!

Both Evelyn and Lilianna are pretty but have many near-same names that are popular right now:
Ave, Eve, Eva
Lily, Lila, Lyla, Lilith, Lillian

I love Evelyn (Evie). Wish we could use...

My vote is for Evelyn Grace! I like that it's not popular right now, yet is classic, elegant, and feminine. Lovely nickname options, too.
