Lyme Moms: what is your treatment plan?

I was diagnosed last week. I'm seeing a lyme specialist (Dr. David Korn in Az) and I have my treatment plan now. Just curious what your treatment plan is for treating lyme. Anyone been "cured" from it?

Zythromax- antibiotic
Protease- some enzyme that breaks up the protective cell wall protecting the lyme bacteria from antibiotics
Cellvox- something for the immune system
Probiotic
Immune power- another immune system thingy...
Coffee enema

he also wants me to start doing home cleanses and detoxes and using my lymph star pro machine which helps with lymph drainage. Everything is oral, I couldnt afford the IV therapy.

I was diagnosed last week as well.
I was already on:
Pure Encapsulations AI Support (Anti-inflammatory)
Mg Glycinate
Vitamin D (5000iu)
Which he said to stay on, and added:
Minocycline (abx)
Theralac (pre/probiotic)
Resveratrol
He's going to check me in a month and see how that's going, and change accordingly. Two of my kids are getting tested next week.

Thanks for posting your treatment plan. Were you tested for the virus herpes hvv6, csv and ebv? I was very elevated in these too along with my c-reactive protein.

What signs of lyme did you have? Have you heard of MMS or miracle mineral solution for treating lyme? My doc. has nevr heard of it but there are a million testimonies online about it treating lyme.

Sounds like we have a lot in common. I have three kiddos too and they are all getting tested for lyme. Did your hubby get tested as well?

Look into coffee enemas, my doc says it's a must for treating lyme. He said I'm wasting my time if I'm not doint them...

Ugh! Hate Lyme. Hate it Hate it hate it!

My main treatment was cats claw. There were others, but i cannot remember them all. It worked really well, in addition to diet and yoga.

He drew blood last week for co-infections and something else. I had the Igenex test. As far as I know I wasn't tested for herpes.

Not sure which are signs of lyme, and what are problems from falling on my butt down the stairs and breaking my tailbone, but I have back pain, neck pain (tingling/numbness), roving pain (2 bouts of tendonitis in my right shoulder, knee buckling for about 6 months, now my left thumb has been painful for the last 6 weeks), increasing allergies (cipro, bacitracin, neosporin, can't tolerate any cosmetics anymore), food intolerances, adrenal issues, thyroid nodules, can't wear any constrictive clothing without it sending my back into painful spasms (includes underwear, jeans, bathing suits, even a tight tank top, socks, nylons, etc. All I can wear is tshirts and loose yoga pants), itchy eyes all the time, headaches....

Only two of my kids are getting tested. The osteo thinks that I got it between the first child and the second. And my husband is getting tested as far as I know. Uh, no, on the coffee enema. Not happening. I'll use the excuse that I don't do caffeine....

I chose not to use abx especially since my baby could be seriously allergic to them if he inherits my dh's disease. My dh almost died with abx for lyme. It was VERY serious.

So we are using herbs:
Teasel Root (from www.ladybarbara.net) (I took this)
teasel essence (I took this while taking the root and also gave it directly to my infant son since he had lyme)
Lots of supportive nutrients (vitamins, minerals, and nourishing herbs such as nettles)
Cutting out allergens, especially gluten since I heard that a poor gut can cling to lyme and make it hard for the body to release it
drinking pine needle tea occasionally to help with detox

I think my son is done with lyme, but I feel like I am at the last bit of it and is ready to be cured any day.

I love hearing what other are doing too!
