Where to post a question about a suitable substitute for an Amby Snuggler

Any suggestions on the best place to post a question about a suitable substitute or replacement for an Amby Snuggler / Snuggly? I did contact the manufacturer (located in Australia) and the item is $28 plus $20 for shipping and handling, which is prohibitively expensive since I just lost my job and I won't be using it myself but rather giving it to a friend.

In light of the Amby recall this seems like a safety issue but I'm wondering if I would get better feedback in the appropriate Ages & Stages forum for Babies.

FWIW, I do have the recall repair kit for levelling the Amby but given the reason for the recall it would seem that proper positioning of the infant could be critical.

Maybe it's my imagination but I seem to remember seeing similar items out there but for the life of me I can't remember who makes them or what they are called.

I actually found the answer to my question.

As it turns out this is not a safety item. I tried to buy it and got an email to get approval on the shipping cost ($28.00, yikes!), so I emailed back asking if it was optional or whether it is a safety item. It only makes sense that it isn't a safety item because it doesn't come with the basic package. It is sold as an accessory.

Additionally, it looks like there are a couple of similar items available at Babies R Us, and probably elsewhere as well.
