Bread Machine Success!!

I made bread in my bread machine tonight and it actually turned out good!

My husband bought me a bread machine cookbook for my birthday and the first recipe I tried came out great. I made a bunch of duds out the little cookbook that came with the machine and had almost given up on it.
Does anyone else get this excited over bread?

OMG, I love my bread machine. I use it mulitple times a week. I have made everything from basic white bread to chocolate bread! (which btw, was a dud) I try new recipes all the time. Some of our favorites are italian herbed bread (basically just a white bread with a teaspoon or so of italian seasoning, and a smidge of garlic poweder), zucchini wheat bread and sally lunn bread.

I have two crock pots as well and on days when I have to work in the evening, I thow a main dish in the one pot, a side in the other and bread in the bread machine. Turn the pots on high and they are done about the same time as a 2lb loaf, and Ta Da! Dinner, and DH and DD didn't have to cook a thing. Which is good because they can't cook.

ETA: I even use the dough setting to make pizza dough for home made pizza. I love the thing, best $40 I ever spent.
