I made DS a pair of PJ's today (not for Christmas). They turned out so well, I think I'll make his Christmas PJs myself this year, rather than buying them somewhere. For DD, I will probably make her a shirt and bloomer set.
I have a bunch of teenage boys to get gifts for, but no clue what to make them. Any ideas? I am a beginner knitter and sewer. I'm also a Graphic Designer, if that helps. Most people get calendars of the kids every year. I design them and then upload to whoever has them cheapest, and have them print the calendars. We also do Secret Santa in my family between all the nieces/nephews and aunts/uncles. Makes it a lot less expensive and fun! Gift should be around the $30 mark. Also, both DH and I have to get one. If I can make something that would have approx. $30 value, that would be awesome. So here is my list of who we need to get gifts for: Mom- calendar, something else Stepdad- Sister-c alendar, something else Grandparents- calendar Young cousin (7 yo girl)- Young cousin (3 yo boy)- Secret Santa 1- Secret Santa 2- MIL- calendar FIL- calendar, something else Grandmother IL- calendar Nephew (17)- Nephew (13)- Nephew (5)- Any ideas? I was thinking maybe making a dress for 7 yo cousin, and a superhero cape for 3 yo cousin and 5 yo nephew. |
