Baked potato toppings

What's your favourite topping.

We are having them once a week here, cause they are easy to leave in the oven while we do swimming lessons.

Tonight we are having cheese & ham quiche, a couple of leftover sausages from last night and some tinned baked beans.

Last week we have cheese and crispy bacon bits.

The couple of weeks before that we have various left overs and some salad.

We just use butter or sour cream plus salt. If we have something with a gravy or sauce - like a roast chicken, I usually add some to my potato.

If it is a side, we just put butter and S&P in ours. If it is for lunch DH likes tuna, chopped onion and shredded cheddar on his.

We eat these as meals:
- homemade cheese sauce and broccoli
- black beans, sour cream, shredded cheese, and diced avocado
- cottage cheese, shredded cheese, and chives

As meals we have either tomato pasta sauce or coleslaw. We put a little bit of butter and cheese on as well for both of those.

we used to frequent a restaurant that served stirfry veggies on the 'taties with cheese covering it all. it was quite delicious, but not necessarily time-saving.
i like broccoli on them, as well as spinach. extra points if you scoop out the innards and blend with the veggies and use less butter or whatever and put it back. mmmmm...
