Any tips on best way to catch chicken pox (toddler)?

We may have an opportunity to catch chicken pox from a 4 year old. Have you had great success with popsicles? lollipops? other ways to transmit cp?
Thanks!

My son got it from a lollipop and a t-shirt that the poxy kid had slept in - I put it on him inside out for a night and right side out for a day. We never actually met the other child.

I've heard putting them in a warm bath together is good, haven't tried it. I've also heard things like whistles and balloons suggested, if they don't go for the lollipops. Musical instruments maybe?

OK, that's shocking - never met the other kid? It must have been a super strong strain!

We're trying all your other suggestions - thanks!

Since this is about the illness rather than vaccine I'm moving to H&H.

We got it from lollipops, shirts, and alternating spoonfuls of applesauce.

Around here, ziplock baggies of clothing tend to be exchanged... the infected kiddo wears it, it goes in a bag, and then the other child wears it. Often the kiddos never meet, and there may be a few families between the pox family and the hopeful pox family!

This past spring there have been three or four pox parties... one tried lollipops and three tried clothing. At least in these cases the clothing seemed to be a better vector, but that may just be luck!

When we caught CP, we shared t-shirts with the infected child, lollies, and took a bath. The t-shirts were a big hit because we then turned around and infected a number of other children through t-shirts, some never came over either, just sent a shirt to their house. I would make sure it was a shirt that had been slept in or on all day so it had more then enough time to get coated.
