Hi there, new here though I remember doing this a few years ago here!

We've always gardened. I LOVE it.

We have a 1/2 acre. Chickens & turkeys too and some fruit trees put in last year and berry bushes.

Unfortunately I"m in school now and had to postpone my garden a bit, also waiting for DH to set up infrastructure since he likes to move the chickens around a bit each year.

I planted a lot and finally broke down and ordered some new seeds for this season. I like to try something new each time.

We're doing a pretty standard one. Tom, herbs, zephyr summer squash are my fave kind (though we have a really severe squash bug problem...I"m trying to grow onions around them this year...), DH grows okra, beans (new kinds are jade and blue coco in addition to provider we do every year and rattlesnake),....lots of seeds in now....excited to try green meat radish and mexican gherkins if they come up well.

also dabbling a bit more in flowers which is sort of a new thing...we're in the SW so we battled some late frosts this year but now it's pretty hot and dry.

glad to see and hear about so many great gardens!

I've finally gotten everything in! And I was so excited to find radishes popping up yesterday too.

I ended up with:
tomatoes (4 varieties)
peppers (5 varieties)
canteloupe
watermelon
radishes
spinach
green beans
peas
carrots
zucchini
squash
cucumbers
onions
cabbage
pumpkins
cilantro

I also got a ton of flowers planted, my fruit trees seem to be doing well and I got my strawberry patch set up and planted. Now I just need to skip past the next few weeks until I have lots of stuff growing like crazy.

Joining the thread...

We are in zone 5, and things are just getting going, but I think I've planted all of the spring/summer beds....

We have
Veggies:
Peas
Lettuce
Green beans
Wax beans
Zucchini
Spinach
Cucumbers
Bell Peppers
Jalapeno peppers
Carnival squash
Spaghetti squash
Tomatoes (3 varieties)
Pumpkins
Soybeans

Herbs:
Chives
Thyme
Parsley
Basil
Cilantro
Summer Savory
Borage
Wild Bergamot
Valerian
Chamomile

And sunflowers.

Dill, kale, and more lettuce and cilantro to come!

So far, the peas are flowering, the beans are all up, the lettuce and spinach is up and thinned (yummy baby greens salad), the peppers and tomatoes were starters and haven't died yet though the tomatoes have some small holes in the lower leaves and I'm trying to figure out what's going on... Zucchini are up, as are the cucumbers. My fingers are crossed for a good year!

I'm pretty much a novice (this is only my third year growing things, and the first two were pretty minor, so this is our biggest garden yet...very exciting!)

It's rained every day since I planted my garden. I found last night that everything's popping up (I planted a week ago), except carrots and pumpkins.
