Hi there, new here though I remember doing this a few years ago here!
We've always gardened. I LOVE it.
We have a 1/2 acre. Chickens & turkeys too and some fruit trees put in last year and berry bushes.
Unfortunately I"m in school now and had to postpone my garden a bit, also waiting for DH to set up infrastructure since he likes to move the chickens around a bit each year.
I planted a lot and finally broke down and ordered some new seeds for this season. I like to try something new each time.
We're doing a pretty standard one. Tom, herbs, zephyr summer squash are my fave kind (though we have a really severe squash bug problem...I"m trying to grow onions around them this year...), DH grows okra, beans (new kinds are jade and blue coco in addition to provider we do every year and rattlesnake),....lots of seeds in now....excited to try green meat radish and mexican gherkins if they come up well.
also dabbling a bit more in flowers which is sort of a new thing...we're in the SW so we battled some late frosts this year but now it's pretty hot and dry.
glad to see and hear about so many great gardens!

though the tomatoes have some small holes in the lower leaves and I'm trying to figure out what's going on... Zucchini are up, as are the cucumbers. My fingers are crossed for a good year!
