Recipe for Kale Chips

There was a good recipe for Kale chips in one of the threads a few weeks ago.
I have been looking for it but can’t find it. I don’t remember if it was in the traditional foods or here.

Could someone be so kind and post one again? I have two bunches of kale and I’d like to try this.

Thanks in advance!

The one I make is basically the same as the one posted, except that I also add 1 Tbsp. of apple cider vinegar.

Kale with acv is so so yummy! I could eat the whole pan of it (but that does bad things to my digestive system )

So you put the ACV on with with oil? If so, what kind of oil and how do you do that part? Spray? What temperature do you cook them at?

I tried making them once but the temperature might have been too low. It took about 1hr at the lowest temp setting on my oven - maybe 200. I only had spray canola oil so I used that.

Ok, so I looked at the site mentioned and see that 300 is a better temperature. I'm going to google for ACV ideas - sounds great.

I haven't perfected the kale chips with acv. When I made them without, they came out crisp and really tender- almost melt in your mouth. With acv, they weren't melt in your mouth. Super yummy, but the texture was different.

I put all the bite-sized pieces in a bowl (I usually do one whole bunch of kale, or a little more). Then, I sprinkle them with 2 Tbsp of olive oil, 1 Tbsp of ACV, and a little sea salt. I massage all that in as thoroughly as I have the patience for, then put them on the cookie sheet, in a thin layer.

I usually cook them at 300-325 (I'm kinda slack about exact temps). I do about 4 minutes on one side, then flip them, and 3-5 on the other side. Getting them just right is tricky. Out of a whole batch, I probably get about 1/3 perfect, 1/3 slightly overdone (too brown...but still yummy!), and 1/3 slightly overdone (a touch chewy, instead of perfectly crisp).

I'll try the lemon juice - it looks good. But...350 for 10-15 minutes? Really? Did that work?
