Companion herbs for pots

I'm going to grow my herbs in large clay pots. I'm realizing my lack of knowledge isn't helping me know what to plant together

Could I pick someone's brain about what should go together?

I have 2 lrg pots (I do have garden space, but just prefer to grow as many of them in pots as I can)

Here are the herbs I have:

chives
mullein
lavender
dill
thyme
lemon balm
evening primrose
calendula
parsley

Maybe the better question is, are their herbs that should not go in the same pot together?

Thank you for your help

Are you planning to over winter the pots and save the perennial herbs for next year? If so, you might want to make sure you put true perennials (like lavender) in different pots than the bi-annuals (parsley) and the annuals (dill). If you don't plan to save them, then I don't think it matters too much, but chives will usually come back each year unless you rip them up. (hearty little buggers)

Thank you - I hadn't considered the perennial/annual thing. I think I've got my plan now
