I am so freaked out I am ready to cry! My DH opened the slider downstairs and went outside setting the alarm off. Well, he did not hear it!
I had to run to the alarm with my 5 week old in my arms to turn it off. The sound was so loud and piercing! I am scared now that I damaged my baby's hearing
It maybe lasted for only a minute, but it seemed like an eternity! Her one ear was pressed to my arm, but another ear was not. Do you think I damaged her hearing?
Thanks for listening to the paranoid mother!

I know how piercing those alarms are, but it was for such a short time I would really doubt that any permanent damage could be done. To set your mind at east why don't you bring it up at her next well-baby visit (if you do them).
