Just popping on here for a minute (it's kind of hard typing with one hand!)
Soren David was born at 10:19PM on May 2nd. It was a very emotional day - we'd been at a memorial service for Freja in the afternoon that the Children's Hospital had put on for all the babies and children who had passed away in this last year. I kind of thought I was in early stages of labor at this point but it was super important to me to attend the service. Let's just say that we had just enough time to make it back home to drop off the kids (a 1 hr trip,) grab a few things and head back to the hospital (another one hr drive!)
I had my VBAC! And for what was supposed to be the most Monitored Birth Known to Man, it turned out to be just the opposite - I didn't even have an IV or stitch in sight! My only birth where I haven't been so much as poked by a single needle.
Pictures & story to come... Oh and he's my biggest by far too - 8lbs4oz!
