DD has been potty trained since she turned 2 and will be 3 in August. She does wear a pull-up or cloth dipe for nap and bedtime. I have been hesitant to not put her in a diaper at nap and night because I don't want to deal with lots of accidents. She is a pretty good sleeper (takes a 2-3 hr daily nap) and I don't know how the potty learning during nap and night will go.
Is there a developmental milestone or sign that may guide me as to when to give it a go with just panties at nap? I have heard if she is continually dry even with a diaper on that this is a good time to give up the dipe. She is not dry and can have a pretty full diaper after a full night of sleep.
Any ideas on how to proceed? I plan to take one at a time (nap first). She does often wait to pee at nap or bedtime until her diaper is on. She'll ask to make sure it is okay (which I try to get her to use the potty first but haven't been successful). So I'm looking for advice and how to make the next steps toward no diapers.
