i really wana try

HI there everyone
im new here.... im 25 years old, and have 2 kids... a son who is 5 and half and a daughter who is 3 and half
both were c-sections!! first one was emergency... i was in labour for so many hours, but right at the end, baby turned into a tranverse position and waters were broken,so had to do a c.
second time round was simple, elective ceaser,,,as doctors say.. it safer.
now i feel terrible, i should have tried for a vbac, and had my say.
anyway, NOW, im TTC again, CAN I HAVE A VBA2C???? plz say yes! but how? because the doctors dont agree with tthat, neither do the midwives here in South Africa, and thats because no doctor will accept tht and be on standby.
so can i jus wait till the end....alow myself to go into labour naturally.....and jus wait at home....thn if im dilating... will they allow me to gv birth naturally??

That is a toughy. I can't tell you what to do, but I can tell you what I would do. If getting someone to take me on prenatally was impossible due to being a VBA2C, I'd say find a care provider who will at least support you going into labor spontaneously, and then have CS after labor has started. You can play the card, of 'so I'll know it's time for him to be born and I feel it's safer to wait for labor than to schedule a CS'. Babies usually all have better respitory outcomes if labor starts spontaneously.

Then, once labor does start, labor at home as long as possible, and then go to hosp. and refuse a CS. It's a procedure and you can refuse it. They can't (at least of what I know) put you under and section you. I think they would have a huge lawsuit on hand.

Hire a Doula (or two) as well to help advocate during birth and help you have the best chances of success and to be with you when you labor at home.

That's just me.
