My DD has starting doing some crazy things recently while BF'ing. It all started with her latching then turnng her head to the opposite direction while still attached? She will do it a few times during a session. Is that normal? It doesn't really hurt me, but it is a little annoying.
Now she has really started to go a little wild. She will change her position constantly, head turning, legs going from one side to the other, downward facing dog (this is the best way to describe it, bum up in the air
) all while attached.
This is not every feeding, but it is getting more common (she still feeds every two hours or so and I would say it happens at least during 2 of them). She has also started grabbing my face, pulling hair and grabbing my breast, all of which does hurt.
I know she needs to learn some nursing manners, but how do I go about it?
Thanks in advance.

it's like breastfeeding an octopus. she is also close to crawling...
I think it is really normal. DD was the same way from 1 year on, her feet would often end up by my head with her laughing and spewing milk at the same time, LOL. For the stuff that hurts I would just end the nursing session when she did that and then start again. That way she may learn that when she hurts mommy nursing ends and she won't do it so much, KWIM?
