any TTC with Vitex?

hey! iv asked before but i saw a few new people who were trying it

so how do you like it? im on cycle 2 with it and LOVE IT!!!

1 a day cd 7-8, and cd9-14 2 a day.

lengthened LP and brought ov to about 5 days sooner.

plus increased CM
noticed it more first cycle than second, but its still helpful this cycle too.

anyone else love it?

I tried it for a few weeks, and the headaches I got while on it where borderline migraines and I had to stop taking it (headaches went away). Maca on the other hand is awesome for me. My cycles are nice and normal and my LP is 12+ which considering I'm still nursing some, is great.

I took vitex to regulate cycles and help with PMS. It helped for a good long while but as I neared a year, it made my PMS worse.
For TTC my favorite way to take Vitex is in the Fertility Blend supplement.

I took it after my first non-pill cycle was something like 50 days. I knew it might just be getting adjusted to not being on BCP, but I figured the vitex couldn't hurt to take while we were waiting to TTC.

I got pregnant the first time we had unprotected sex. I have no idea if the vitex contributed to it or not, but once again, it didn't hurt!

I recently read this article and was convinced to start trying it soon (still gearing up to TTC), as my LP is on the short side (10-11 days). What dosages have you all taken? The pill form I found at the store is 100 mg pills.

I've taken it the past two times I've TTC. I take Femaprin (vitex + B-12-I think, it's one of the b vitamins.) My normal cycle is 28 days but I don't ovulate until CD 22! The first cycle I took the femaprin I ovulated on cd 16 and after that it was always on cd 14 or 15, still a 28 day cycle. I've never noticed any other side effects from it, other than the earlier ovulation and longer LP.
