Jade - you totally will blow them away. Show them how its done! Have a read of Ina May Gaskin's latest book - she has some good stuff in there about women who supposedly were too small, who delivered their babies just fine. She has this great mantra for opening up in labor: 'you're going to get huge.'

FWIW, my aunty is teeny and she gave birth vaginally to two 11 pound babies.

I hate docs who do the whole 'meh, stuff happens'.

I had been complaining for YEAR about joint problems and I was eventually told that 'you are probably just one of those people who suffers pain', that was my diagnoses lol.

Anyway, turns out I have Ehler Danlos Syndrome, higher risk of PPH, OP babies, tissue damage etc, just as well I didn't have the dodgy EDS because I could have died in childbirth.......

I don't know, I do know that with the miscarriages and PPH at birth, something has to be going on and maybe if there is something going on, it could be dealt with and you get your home birth?????
