Why is not using a lot of oil blasphemy, I mostly cook with butter and lard which are both TF.

If you live in the Pacific Northwest, Glorybee Foods has the best price I've found. The shipping costs go up the further away you are though, so if you are on the East coast, not such a good deal.
For me it costs about $40 to get a gallon of Extra virgin Coconut oil, delivered. Or I can get regular coconut oil (which I use to fry stuff) for $25 a gallon, delivered. Or.. I pick it up when we are visiting family in Eugene and save myself the shipping charge. Then it's only $33 for the virgin and $17 for the regular. |
