Well my husband and I went over my list a few hours ago and one stuck out that I hadn't even put in this thread because it was so out there and I never thought it would make it past the first cut (so to speak), but surprisingly it kind of struck my husband, too:
Ransom
I know it's completely weird but the main character of one of my favorite trilogies of all time, C.S. Lewis's "Perelandra" books, is named Ransom (it's the last name of the character, but he is only called Ransom in the books). And something about the sound of the name, I just like it. It popped up in the baby book and I thought what the hell, I'll write it down.
Looked it up online and apparently it hasn't been in common use for like 100 years, haha. So yeah, odd name. But I don't know, I keep thinking about it. If my husband ended up going for it, I would even use a different middle name so that it would flow better.
