I am more of a lurker than a poster here, but I have found your stories and knowledge tremendously helpful to me on my vbac journey. Thank you all so much!!
My beautiful baby girl was born vaginally on April 30, 2010 at 7 lb 14 oz, 21 inches long (just a hair bigger than her sister, born by c-section). It was a long labor with 3 hours of pushing and a small tear, but I did it!!
FWIW, my c-section was due to 'CPD' - got to 10 cm and pushed for 3+ hours with minimal progress. I think the difference this time around was my mobility in early labor, insistence on trying alternative pushing positions (even though I had an epidural), and a SUPER supportive OB nurse (thank you Deb!).
I'll try to post the whole story later, don't have time now.
