Mucus Plug and Itching??

I have started to lose my mucus plug, at least I think so. I have considered it could be a yeast infection, but everything tells me it's not. And I haven't called my OB yet because I thought when I had it start on Sat, I thought it was when I had to run out of the shower w/o properly rinsing (fire alarm went off in our building.) and that perhaps that was the cause, but it's going on a week...I'm just so confused. Anyone have itching with the mucus plug? Any advice??

I have never had any itching when losing my plug. I would think it might be yeast. A quick swab would tell you. You could also put some plain yogurt on and see if that helps any. Hope it stops soon.

I would think yeast over plug. I've never had any itching with the loss of my plugs. Also, don't panic. The plug can regenerate (i lost mine a week before dd#1 and 2 weeks before dd#2 arrived)!
