1st birthday gift suggestions please!

My dd will be turning 1 in July. She isn't walking yet but is pulling up to a stand and crawling. I'm just trying to think of what we could get her. Any suggestions?

DD1's first birthday gifts included a small doll, a "push wagon" sort of toy (popular early walker toy that can be used as a ride on "car" or as a push toy), bubble mix, sand box toys, and a cd of favorite songs (one each from different friends and family members to create a mix tape).

We made a "sensory" box for dd2's 1st. A box with a small silk, a maraca style rattle and a "cymbal" style rattle, a small plush doll, dried fruit puffs and chewy fruit leather (special taste treats), a 'bath brush' (shaped like a little hippo, I think they're for cleaning finger nails?), and a polished geod (too big to eat ).

Not sure what we'll do for ds this summer!

This toy is ridiculous looking and deceptively simple but I gave one to my nephew for his first birthday and he absolutely loved it. It's called a bilibo and it sort of looks like a turtle shell. My nephew thought it was fun to fill with toys and dump out, liked climbing into it and rocking or tipping himself over or getting spun by daddy, liked turning it over and standing on it or sliding down it, used it in the tub to fill with bath toys and dump out... the uses are endless and it's made of recycled materials. You can also use it as a toy bin for the few toys you might like to keep in the living room or something. They sell it at the wonderful toy store near me but you can look at the website too.
