Babystart FertilFocus Ovulation Microscope

Has anyone here ever used one? i did a search for ovulation tests on amazon and this was in the list of products that came up and when i googled it one of the links said it is 98% reliable at detecting ovulation and it detects changes in your saliva, which to me did sound strange.
i had a chart that came with my bbt thermometer and wondered what the hell it meant when it had saliva on it i thought you had to test your saliva for LH so i spat on an opk lol.

I seen that one advertise on amazon but I ordered the cheaper one on there last week and it just came through today ...

I didnt want to get the Babystart FertilFocus as it was about and extra ÂŁ12.00 and I thought the cheaper one should work the same and I know Im not going to us it that much as I perfer OPKS and charting

I tryed using it today and its abit fiddly! Im defo going to have to get used to it! .... but Il keep with it....

and sorry but about spitting on the OPK!

I agree about them being fiddly. I got one off ebay and when I can get just the right amount of spit on there it is interesting to see the ferning but to be honest I've stopped bothering and am just sticking with temping and OPKs. I wouldn't spend the money again.

!!!!! hilarious.

I have one, and I really liked it. I have the Fertile Focus, and got it from early-pregnancy-tests.com it was not very expensive, compared to how much I invested wasted at times on OPKs and HPTs over the 17 mos we were TTC.

I agree, it's a little interesting to get used to at first, but for me, it was just another thing to help predict my otherwise unpredictable O. (i had long irregular cycles, so I'd take ANY chance to figure out when it might happen!!) I got in to the habit of taking my temp, then when that was finished, doing the dab of spit on the microscope, then getting out of bed, brushing teeth, etc while it dried, then checking the scope just before I left my bedroom for the morning.

the lengths to which we'll go!
