My BIL was going to wear my DS in the ergo the other day, but he's a bigger guy and it wouldn't fit around him. My sister is pregnant, and they're looking into buying some kind of carrier. Does anyone know of anything like an ergo that would work for a big guy?

Ha! Thats my DH shes talking about and I'm currently looking into this exact issue. Yes Sam, they make an extension for the ergo waist, I sent you the link this morning, its only 8 bucks! Now I'm trying to figure out which type of carrier I would like best as I have the opposite problem, I'm very very small and the ergo feels too big on me, even with a big baby in it! I'm thinking maybe a beco will work better... but I'm not sure.

a baby hawk oh snap might be a good choice too. the way they are designed they fit a very wide range of people. i find it more comfortable then the ergo too, for what it's worth.

I'm looking into that for my DH.. though I think the ergo might just fit him- not 100% sure though, as he won't let me try it on him! "that's your thing, babe!"
