No I do not shop at Lane Bryant. Yes! I am about a size 12 or 14. The women in the ad is beautiful. There is nothing wrong with the ad! I looked at a few Victoria's Secret ads - they are way more revealing. Shame on ABC.

There is nothing wrong with the ad and I would love to see LB here. I have a thrift store/DIY budget and my weight vacillates (I'm about a 14 now) so I would definitely be more inclined to save up for something nice from them or ask for it as a gift if I was more familiar with their products.

I'm not a size 14 or larger but I used to be. I would window shop at LB but usually never bought anything because of the expense. However, I don't think the commercial was bad at all. No matter what ABC says they are very selective about the type of commercials they run and they are completely discriminatory!

I havent seen VS commercials or afaik any lingerie ads on TV (I rarely watch anyway) so i can't say how this rates on that count.

I did NOT think the woman in the ad was "plus" size though. I would have thought she was slim, actually.

anyway, if abc loss = mdc gain, so be it.

Yes, I wear a 14 or larger but I don't usually shop at Lane Bryant. I usually don't like scantily clad women (of ANY size) used as commercials, but that one was certainly no worse than any others that are ran all the time!

I am a size 14/16 and shop at LB about once a year. When they have their big coupons out and I go out of my way to save money to shop there.

Their clothing fit for "womens" sizes is excellent and the clothing is well made. I love their newer jeans that come in 3 figure styles and finally a jean that fits a more apple shape.

I just bought 2 bras and one fun lingerie item from LB. I am incredibly pleased with the bras and like them over Bali and Playtex.

The ad is less risque than VS by far. The LB commercial actually had a plot, not just quick edited shots of boobs, legs, boobs, hair, boobs, hips, boobs.

Please support LB and their ads that protray average sized women.

I often buy bras there. I love that once my milk supply is established, I can lift up and out of the cup to nurse. I feel supported, and the bras are affordable enough that I don't mind that I need to replace them a bit more often from using them as a "nursing bra."

Wow. Another example of how the media dictates ideals to the public and marginalizes categories of people/views it finds undesireable or not in line with its opinions.

Please let LB know they're welcome here.

what is WRONG with ABC???? the women on Dancing with the Stars wear FAR less than the model in the commercial. she was beautiful and THAT is the type of image i personally would like to see more. we need all representations of women in the media so badly in this world. it's shameful that ABC denied us that.
