Sewing Clothes Kids Love

Thread Starter
by Nancy Langdon and Sabine Pollehn--has anyone made anything from this book?

I LO-HOVE the clothing in this book; it's exactly what I'm looking for. Gorgeous! I am so excited to make something fancy from it!

HOWEVER--I'm a fairly novice sewer--5 dresses and a skirt under my belt.

When she says easy, does she really mean easy? Are the directions easy to follow?

Also, it's a library book--any tips on using the patterns w/o cutting them? THANK YOU!!

Oooh I'm going to see if my library has that one! Just trace out the patterns using Swedish Tracing Paper, thin interfacing, wax paper, tracing paper etc. I trace all my patterns and never cut the originals. If you have sewn at all, I would think that "easy" would be fine. I think "beginner" would be maybe if you hadn't sewn at all? Really, if you enjoy sewing you can tackle any project. That's how you get experienced, by doing it over and over, trying new methods, etc.

Wow, I was looking at this over at amazon and barnes and noble website tonight. What a coincidence it was mentioned here now... I just requested it from our library. I can't wait to see it!
