I am a WOHM with a SAHD and a beautiful wonderful one year old daughter. G has had sleep issues since the beginning (oh the 30 minute naps we've had- with hours of bouncing in between) but she is finally sleeping relatively well at night- save for the 2-3 wakings to eat. She goes to bed between 7 and 8:30 and during the week wakes up sometime (after I have left for work
), between 7:15 and 8 am- fabulous right? She has been sick all week with a yucky cold and very mama-centric right now so I have been up a lot with her at night and was very much looking forward to sleeping in this morning a little bit.
But no, like every weekend for the past month or so she got up at 5:15 and would NOT go to daddy. I just want some sleep. Between the wakings for the illness that would last up to two hours and having to get up at 5am to get ready for work all week long mama is going crazy. I am so so so so so so tired. Worse- she woke me up this morning by kicking me hard in the eye- not intentionally.... at least I think. Why won't she sleep in on the weekends the way she does during the week? I haven't gotten more than 4 hours straight in over a year (and yes I know plenty of mamas have it worse) I just need one day to sleep til 7:30, even 7 I would take.
Anyway, that's just my rant. It's not the worst thing in the world but I really would like to sit down and have a good cry.
