preventing PPD

I'm getting ready to ttc again and I am a little bit concerned about PPD. I dont know if I had it with my first child or not, but all the new mom troubles, trouble breastfeeding, etc. - I didnt handle them well. I am wondering if there are things that can be done to prevent PPD? And does breastfeeding well help? Anything else? Thanks!

Breastfeeding helps a lot. It gets the right hormones going. And getting enough SLEEP (always tough) is another good thing.
