Ok finally realizing that yes I am suffering from PPD (DH said it about a month after DD was born) almost a year after DD's birth.
I just haven't been the same as I was and am starting to have more and more problems with anxiety/just going out of the house. Some days I can barely drag myself out of the bedroom to do anything with the baby.
So I know what I need to do, I want to talk to someone. Desperately. Unfortunately I don't have any health insurance at the moment (trying to rectify that irritating situation) and we are flat broke but I know that sometimes therapists will do a sliding scale.
Are there therapists/counselors who specialize in PPD? I keep trying to find someone local and am having no luck at all!
Any resources would be so greatly appreciated! Thanks
