So which cycle day's sperm actually made it to the egg??

Hypothetically, if a couple had sex on say day 10, 12, and 14 of her cycle and she O'ed on day 14, which day's sperm actually made it to the egg?
If I were to see this on a chart I'd assume it was the day 14 sperm that crossed the finish line. However, couldn't it have been a day 10 sperm (maybe a slow female or a particularly hardy male) that had time to make it up there and lie in wait??

My curiosity stems from a gender selection curiosity.
I thought I'd ask here because I know while trying to concieved, everything conception related is very heavily scrutinized.
This could be something to ponder during the 2WW!!

Your thoughts?....

Theres no way to know, all of them could have been viable an waiting at the time so its just a matter of which one found the egg first.

we dtd 2X on O-2... and one time each O-1 and O...

and have a girl on the way.

Gender selection doesn't actually work anyway, if it skews the results its only by a couple percent and some studies show it actually skewing it in the opposite way...

You still have pretty much the same chance of either... so I say

It doesn't matter, all that matters is one made it!

Oooh thats a tough question, it really could be any of those days!
Check out my chart:

I have two wonderful boys and always thought I was desperate for a little girl, well as you can see on my chart I conceived with total boy timing and Im sooo excited at the thought of a third boy, we have already picked his name! I would be blown away if the baby turns out to be a girl!

Has anyone tried the intelligender test? They are new in Australia but you can test your wee as early as 10 weeks and find out which gender you are having, its apparently 99% accurate.

Save your money, its the same thing as the draino test and isnt any more accurate :/

Most women get inconclusive answers and those that get one way or the other have just as much chance of it being wrong as it is right.

I hope you are right!

I wasn't lol. Was a huge shock and Im still trying to get used to the idea that the little one bouncing around in there is a SHE.
