So for mothers day I found that my daughter has cradle cap. I didn't know it was possible for a 7 month old to get cradle cap. I am so bummed out about it.
I have found some people say it is from not bathing enough, we bathe every other day and wash the hair each time. Others say I need to scrub it more. I use mild baby soap for her body and her hair that my mom made. Maybe I need to buy something of California babies.
Tonight I smothered her head in shea butter, something I read said you could use olive oil or baby oil. We use homemade shea butter for everything so I thought what the heck. Now I think maybe I should have gone with olive oil...just cause. Anyhow we scrubbed and all the shea is out and most of the scalp is "normal" but there is still some nasty crust!
Any other thoughts?
