Snuggli Question

Thread Starter
I am pretty sure that this is not the carrier of choice for most MDC mamas, but I was given one as a hand me down, and thought I would try it out this morning with the new 10mo little boy in my home daycare who is rather sleep resistant, and needs to be walked and bounced to go to sleep.

I don't have the original packaging or instructions, but I feel like I must be doing something wrong. It is really supposed to hang off of your neck? How uncomfortable! If that is the case I can't see using it with an older infant as all. Transferring the pain in my arm to a pain in my neck is just not worth it!

We were both unhappy and gave up after just a couple of minutes. Thank goodness I still have my Baby Buddha (Canadian product, absolutely fabulous) and we switched to that where he napped happily.

So am I doing this wrong, or is it just that pourly designed?

in short - it is that poorly designed! I think there might be a way to get the straps to cross lower down on your back which might help a bit, but it is not meant for older babies (or any babies, IMO

My MIL got me a snuggli at a yard sale (thank goodness she didn't pay more than $5 for it!). Yes, it is just poorly designed. It was uncomfortable to use with my newborn... I can't imagine trying it with a 7 mo. old!
