I posted this in the TTC 20something but thought I'd list it here too.....
Has anyone ever seen this in your own test? I got this dark but VERY partial line VERY close to the control line right after peeing on it. The picture doesn't show it as prominent as it is.... but i'm wondering if anyone else has ever had this?

I have used FRER about 10 times my last two cycles and haven't had a speck of anything show up. Input would be appreciated!

i dont actually see anything on that pic, but if you can see it in person- generally, any color that shows up anywhere other than where it's supposed to is a probably an error of some sort. i would call the company and explain it, they might send you a coupon for a new one.

I see the little peg of pink where the positive line should be...

It looks like an error to me. (Not that I am an expert, I have just been ttc and hanging out here for a loooooooong while)

Yes, call the company, get a free new test!

THAT one will hopefully be positive!

It looks like maybe an evap line to me. I know people say FRER's don't have them, but I use them often and while usually the area is stark white, sometimes I can see an indent, and even a grayish line where the positive would be. I think maybe the dye just got caught in the top? Or, maybe it's just too soon for a clear positive for you. Hope you get a BFP soon.

Can you get an evap line at 1 minute after peeing? I'm just wondering--i'm not so familiar with evap lines!

Thank you ladies for the quick response! I know it's not where the result window should be, but seems to me that this is one of the most accurate HPTs available, so I was wondering how often this happens for anyone! It is truly pink and actually starts at the top of the window... though you can't tell in the picture!

I agree. I think you got stuck with a defective test. The results line would be over a little bit. Call the company!

I took apart a FRER once & a couple hours later I had an evaporation line that looked EXACTLY like that. I'm not sure how you saw one soo soon, but it was probably a defective test...
