I know that Cytotec can become a tender issue, so no flames, please.

Henci Goer does a great job elaborating on the risks of misoprostol in labor.

Thanks for posting.

Cytotec is one thing that scares the crap out of me, and I think a lot of people don't know everything about it. I didn't until some people on here started posting about it.

When it comes to the use of any medication or medical treatment, true informed consent is seldom provided to people....and they don't even know it. There is so much trust placed in doctors, but that trust is not earned--and cytotec is a good example. I cannot believe that it is still used for induction, as dangerous, and dangerously unpredictable, as it is!
