What do I wrap all this meat in b4 freezing!?

Just got a whole cow and bones and fat and everything. Everything was just wrapped in plastic and he said it will freeze together unless I seperate it somehow. (my parents used to get a cow and it was always wrapped in a white paper )

So....he mentioned these things, but I wanted to know if anyone else had any ideas....

He said if I just took them out every day and got them unstuck from each other then they probably wouldn't stick

Or I can seperate each bag from each other with garbage bags

I thought maybe I could buy some paper or something (wax, butcher, parchment? something?) and wrap them up in it

The least expensive idea is the best for us! Anyone know what to do! I've got a lot of meat etc on my hands suddenly, which is great! But feeling overwhelmed!

Well, I'm just wrapping them in computer paper and using masking tape to fasten so far. Hope that works okay!

I've never personally packaged meat for freezing before, but we get a half a pig every year and it comes all wrapped from the butcher. The meat pieces are separated by a small sheet of wax paper, wrapped in plastic wrap, and then wrapped in butcher paper. You might also be able to use freezer paper in place of the butcher paper. They are packaged in one-meal portions (for example, four pork chops in one package or two larger pork steaks per package). The meat always seems very fresh even after I defrost it and isn't freezer burned at all. HTH!

My meat from the farmers markets comes wrapped in paper or in greasproof peper, though sometimes i wrap it in unbleached baking paper when i get home. As long as i wrap it tightly and well, theres no freezer burn!

I was gonna suggest freezer paper...that's what my family always used growing up when we had a deer to store in the freezer. There's special white tape we always used (not sure if that mattered or not) and we just wrote right on the paper what it was.
