First back carry!!!!

Sorry no pictures - but I'm just so proud! I put DS in a high back carry in my MTbaby today! He liked it and felt secure and didn't pull out too much of my hair. He had his arms over the top of the MT though, and I'm not sure if that's considered unsafe in a back carry. But I didn't drop him and I could get him off my back all by myself (DH was a spotter when I put DS up)

Congrats!One of the reasons I'm glad I got my mei tai is for back carries. DS is 11mo, and I still haven't figured out how to wrap on my back, but I love how secure he feels on my back in the mei tai. I think I first tried to put him on my back in the mei tai when he was about 5mo, after that(like, now) it is so difficult because all he wants to do is escape! and he knows how to escape from the mai tai!1
