Painful lump near csect scar

I posted in health and healing but maybe you mamas can help.

Yesterday I must have stretched wrong or something and now at the end of my csect scar I have a very painful lump. It feels like a superball, about the same size and firmness. It hurts and burns when I move or stretch. My csect was 3 years ago. Any idea what this could be? Should I go to the dr? TIA

I would get it checked-yes-hope it's nothing serious!

edited to add-we have a support group here for cesarean births-maybe someone there could help.

Benign ovarian cyst? other than that... i don't know. Cysts can come up quickly, hurt and are noticeable at about that size. Caffeine makes them worse, B-complex vitamins make them better. I'd check with a doctor though... ok? use a pen and draw a circle around it, because that way you'll have an objective method to see if it gets bigger, which is an important diagnostic fact.

hope you feel better.

Oops, I forgot I posted this here too. It's a hernia, I get to have surgery next week to repair it. Yuck.
