Does your baby have marks that come and go on your baby? About 3 months ago my DS had a virus that gave him red rashes on top and sides of his head. Since they first broke out, he also had to brown patches, one on his forehead, the other on his temple, that seem to wax and wane in color. I've noticed if he's got a cold or fighting something off, they get darker in color. Sometimes they almost completely disappear. I've asked his peds about them and got different answers that have left me stumpted. 1 doc said it was related to the virus (but why does he still have the marks 3 mos later???). The other say it can happen if they head is bruised, but he hasn't hurt his head.
I'd really appreciate any ideas what this might be, as it's really perplexing. My son also has a very large head (gone from 95% to 99% b/t his 6 mo to 9 mo check up.) Could this be somehow related?
