Yes that little goof never failed to put a smile on my face. This is the first dog I've ever owned and I don't know how long the healing process takes but I still get a tear in my eye every time I look down and don't see him. We met with a taxidermist and are currently awaiting him to be returned to us. So that's one thing that keeps me going. I'll still be able to see him in his happiest place just as he was. I know that sounds strange...

Thank you for the kind words

My daughter and I are doing a bit better these days. I get the sense that she may be depressed though. She does a nice job of hiding it but I can tell she seems a bit off and not as interested as things before. A mother knows.

Little update:

Got ourselves a new bulldog, I just love the breed. This one is quite a bit of a handful though and he doesn't seem to like being a footrest either!

Life is good though.
