Let me introduce myself-I have homeschooled for several years. I like it-really I do. My oldest just turned 19. EEK! He returned to school in 10th grade. He wanted to go to school beacuse he was sure I was totally wrong about everything and when he got to public school he would find the right way-because everyone knows more than me--in other words typical teenage stuff LOL!
Of course he found out that I knew more than he thought-as is usually the case.
The problem is that something about this whole transition over the pst few years has really taken the wind out of my sails. I have lost the thrill of homeschooling-I am burned out-last year I used an online curriculum to give myself some space. It has made me lazy-ugh!
I just need some ideas to get me excited and going again. My younger kids ar estill brimming with love for me and for learning-somehow I need to recover from the trauma of having a teenager tell me how wrong I am. I just need a good inspirational book-or website--or something.
anyone know what I mean here?I just need a little confidence builder maybe-I want our homeschool to be back to what it was-or have a new plan for a new day that is even better.

Nothing like a kid to make you feel bad huh? No advice but tons of hugs your way. How bout do a little unschooling through the summer and find out why you love homeschooling all over again. Nothing like watching your children discover things to make you realize why you are doing what you are doing.
