Second song was one of my grandmother's favorites. She sang it all the time on the way to chemo for her lung cancer. She passed in only a few months. She was very special to me. And I think it is soooooo important to remember how "wonderful the world is" among all the madness of life these days!

Beautiful! Thanks so much for sharing. Kind of wished someone took pics of my baby being born. Looking at homebirth pics makes me want to have one too While my hospital birth was perfect, there were way too many people bugging and monitoring me.

That was just amazing. Thanks for sharing!

I had a photojournalism student volunteer to take pics at my first birth, and she even came to a prenatal, too.. but then she never returned my phone calls after the birth, I never saw her again, and I never saw a single picture.
We joke around about it now, like "Maybe she left the lens cap on." and stuff, but I still am pretty irked about it all.

This time I planned to have DH take some pictures, but I wound up needing to hold onto him instead. Oh, well.
