OK, so now how to I launder these?

I'm a gateway cloth user . I did sposies with DD1 and let it be known during my last pregnancy that I wanted to "try" gDiapers. So, I had the pants with the disposable inserts and was getting the hang of them, so I bought the cloth inserts (they're hemp on one side and microfiber on the other). I followed the pre-washing instructions and have used them all. So far so good.

But now, I have a small pail of dirty gCloth inserts and have to wash them. I've got the Ecos Free and Clear detergent (picked that from DiaperJunction's detergent chart) and a top loading washing machine. My diapers are dry pail.

So, now, what do I do?

Well if it was me I'd put diapers in washer add reccomended amount of detergent (full cap full scoop ect) wash on hot longest cycle and an extra rinse if you have the option (or manually) and dry.. But I tend to keep super simple wash routinues.

i do a cold prewash to rinse out the solids and the urine. then i do a hot wash with detergent to get them clean. then i do a cold rinse with vinegar to get all the detergent out. i add one more cold rinse to get out the vinegar.

this is how i do it now after trying all the options .lol. i would start with a simple wash like a pp suggested. just smell them after they come out of the washer. they shouldnt smell like anything really. then smell them after the dryer etc. then if you have problems come ask questions. lol.
